With a narrative thread shaped by deconstructing documentary segments from materials available on the internet and the artists’ personal archives, Embolex recreates an audiovisual narrative that challenges the notion of the individual and “authorship” as something inherent. It is within this hybrid, intricate, and diverse dimension of reality, crafted through audiovisual manipulations and the layering of narratives that “tangle” the linear and singular understanding of truth, that the work takes place.
